Lloyd Kaufman's Troma classic Toxic Avenger concerns the story of weedy (but hilariously cool) mop boy Melvin who after being jerked around by some Tromaville neds falls into some radioactive waste transforming him into a creature of "superhuman size and strength" - The Toxic Avenger.
The deformed hero growls his way through the movie reeking violent and gory revenge on all evil doers, with plenty of brainless belly laughs along the way.
A firm favorite here at SGM, this disc presents the unrated directors cut of the film in all its gory splendour. Along with missing scenes and a load of other Toxie extras this one's a great buy for both newcomers to Troma and old Toxie fans alike.
Get some beers in and leave yer brain in a box !! - Recommended.
