Mark of the Devil

Now here's a strange one, coming across like a mad hybrid of Hammer Horror, Italian shocker and exploitation of old, Mark of the Devil is indeed a rare treat.

Horror stalwarts Herbert Lom, Udo Kier and Reggie Nalder brazen their way through this witchhunt movie with wild abandon, sentencing, torturing and killing whoever gets in their way.

Thoroughly entertaining stuff, a classic in a world of it's own. And the music stayed with me for weeks (very reminiscent of the old cannibal films). As I said, if you like your Hammer mixed up with some Italian witch hunt, check this baby out !!

Nothing in the way of extras, but a fine uncut widescreen print.
