Demons

Demons

Demons run rampage in a cinema showing a preview of a new horror movie. Zombies on speed in this Italian horror classic. Thumping music and screaming victims getting chased around like sheep being herded to the slaughter, lovely stuff.

Produced by that man Argento, it's frantic entertainment at it's best. Another one of my personal favorites (when first released here on video I watched this gem three times back to back, sad eh) it is highly recommended.

A gorgeous widescreen print in Dolby 5.1 surround, both William Lustig and Anchor Bay have to be highly commended for their care with their releases.

Lamberto Bava's audio commentary is a bit cringe at times (he comes across as not really giving a hoot about the film), but hey, you're not buying this for the commentary eh?

There is a slight cut to this print during the toilet transformation scene, which seems bizarre considering the high levels of gore throughout (so hold on to those VHS Avatar copies), but don't let that put you off buying this essential DVD purchase. Excellent.
